Strange Seo Problem

I just asking experts... i will don`t tell it is a CsCart problem, but let`s inpect together

I sell...let`s say... auto parts.

My Cscart shop born from few products at WordPress, and now it is very big... passing from few CsCart version

So, my products was diferent looks. For a single person to admin all products and another work... it is a little hard

I decide to make all products identical and i use this:

https://www.ecom-labs.com/ready-to-use-add-ons/cs-cart-seo-meta-tags-generator-add-on.html

and this

https://www.ecom-labs.com/ready-to-use-add-ons/cs-cart-custom-h1-tags-add-on.html

And now all my product is:

Product name: Product name

Custom H1 tag: Product name CODE1, CODE 2, CODE, 3 CODE4, CODE5

Page title: Product name CODE1, CODE 2, CODE, 3 CODE4, CODE5 - DOMAIN_NAME

Seo name: domain.com/product-name-product-code.html

"product-code" = means ex: 13-252 <- product code from cscat

"CODE1, CODE2...." = means OEM product codes of that product

All these changes i made in few hours in one night

And now...the strange part is at my attach....

From that night (4 feb 2018)... BOUNCE RATE EXPLODE ! until this day

My mind was thinking at some 404 pages... from google...but is not this case because a new sitemap it is allready indexed

And can`t be my market problem... it is a big diference... the market shares should have been small down.. i see my competitors... can not be my market to blame

Where we wrong?

Hello,

Just pointing out the obvious overhere, maybe try uninstalling the add-ons from eComlabs?

** Edit, a bounce percentage of 0.66% is probably wrong. Normally this value is at least above 25% and collectively evens out at about 55%.

Kind regards,

Have you contacted Ecom labs about the issue? Given that the addon changes standard behavior, that would seem like the right place to start.

I have no idea how functionality of these modules can affect bounce rate. Having more than 90 downloads, we have never received any complaints.

But yes, try to temporary disable mentioned modules and monitor the statistic

You should post your website url here.. For what I understand bounce rate is when someone opens your link and goes away for not finding what he was looking for..

Agree with you... that i said it is a strange problem... and i gues is not strange only in my head

Send you PM...

EcomLabs I think he knows me and knows my domain

it is something normal that bounce rate to go UP or DOWN... but why exact in that day ? why so suddenly ?!

I actually think you fixed something. A bounce rate of under 1% is practically impossible. A bounce rate of 50% though is pretty normal.

By Big G standard within 375 secs. SO even an increased page load time can be the cause ( most of times it it..)

Back to topic... Have you solved/sorted it ?

Sorry , still a newbie can't edit the posted..

BTW it was intended to be 3 to 5 seconds

3/5 sec

Not quite sure what you're getting at here. Are you saying that a user who goes to a page that doens't act within 3-5 seconds is considered a bounce? Or that if they leave the page before 3-5 seconds that is considered a bounce?

bounce is the 'short term' abandoning rate. so the latter. And it's often linked to increase page load time. just because of that...

Performance can certainly be a factor in a viewer's dissatisfaction with a web site (decision to click further or go somewhere else). If you go to a landing page and it takes 5+ seconds to load, then there's not much point in staying there so might as well leave because it's going to be a painful experience. However, the other side is content. If I view a landing page and it loads in under 2 seconds but the content is not what I want, then I also leave. Same goes for my "impression" of what my experience will be in wandering through the site (navigation layout, number of annoying scrolling banners, etc.).

In general, cs-cart performs pretty well. Most home pages (usually the more complex of pages on a site) load in under 3 seconds total. If they take longer than that, then that's a merchant's design/content issue and can usually be addressed by limiting content to what's really relevant. Determining that takes a lot of A/B testing. No clicks, no need.

Go to the gtmetrics site and enter in 'amazon.com'. One would argue from the results that this is a poor website and would never be succerssful! :-)

Hi guys,

I am witnessing a strange SEO problem in my keyword ranking, it is very helpful if I get any assistance.

The problem is my Keyword ranking is fluctuating from top to bottom in a matter of days comparison.

say if my keyword is on 20th position today by the end of this week the particular keyword would be on 80th place.

So can anyone say why this is happening....

Dear friend, I have read your post and Im very sad for your problem. We used the same addons in a big online pharmacy in Greece and we have make many changes with eCom Labs (With official addons & custom changes). This problem it has nothing to do with the addons but with other reasons. Also, the BR maybe increase from different settings on GA Account. Please remember if you change something on tracking functions to your GA Account at 4 Feb. Agree with @poppedweb, cause usualy the values of BR are more higher than yours (31%-49%). So i think that your problem now is that you see the normal values.
