Error You Have To Specify Product Name

I made a change in one of my global options and after clicking Save, I received the error:

Error You have to specify product name

It still saved my changes, but this is a new error I haven't seen before. I did do the recent upgrade to 4.6.3.

This error is generated by the fn_update_product function (app/functions/fn.catalog.php). If the product is updated, and received array with product data does not contain product name, this error is displayed

But it was a product option (global) that I updated, not a product, and it only started after the latest upgrade - it never did it before that and the nothing has changed in the product option.

Not sure why the fn_update_product function is called in this case. May be 3rd party module?
