Printing Fedex Label Directly In Cs-Cart

I feel like there was a time where we could print Fedex shipping labels directly in CS-Cart. Am I just imagining things?

If I am, what's the best way CS-Cart store owners are creating shipping labels these days? Do you have to manually enter customer information in your Fedex account online everytime?

There was a time, with shippingkit. I think it's about time we get an integration like that again... :)

It's great to see that you're still active on these forums. I took a break form CS-Cart for a bit and now I'm back, but I remember seeing you everywhere on the forums years ago. It's like coming back home and seeing old friends again.

Just FYI, FedEx API is a disaster. To ship multiple packages within a shipment you first have to create a shipment with one package and then add packages to that shipment ensuring that you then set the shipment_id property in each of those packages (and if I recall, you need to know number of packages when creating the shipment). This is but one small example of how screwed up their API is. Then there's the whole issue of printing labels to a thermal (or other) printer from a web browser that meets their specifications.

This is old feedback (a few years at least) since I last looked into it.

That's too bad about the FedEx API. I guess we can only hope someone does something soon.
