I am using cs cart ultimate. and I have a e-commerce store on a server. now i want to create another cs cart store on another server with that license. so can i do it or is it ok for or is there any problem will arise?

I take it that you are going to transfer the licence to the new server. There are loads of post on the forum in relation to moving CS-Cart. Also in Docs. http://kb.cs-cart.co...-another-server

I believe all storefronts need to be on the same server.

All storefronts will share a common Admin panel.

The simple awnser to that is no, All stores have to be on the same hosting account and work from the same admin, All you have to do is go to manage stores and add store. the url can be www.yourstore.com/teststore when you are finished you can visit the new store from your domain at the entered url.

To have the store at another domain you add that domain as an addon domain on your main domain in cpanel.

There is only one admin for all stores, but it is possible to setup administrative users and only assign them the ability to edit certain elements of a store. http://docs.cs-cart....ores/index.html

Hello! You can have different addresses of online stores on different domains, but the admin panel will be common for all stores.

What is the purpose of having second store on another server? You can use both domains on one server and not pay for the second server

I am not sure what cseamiya's reason is for his request. But our experience moving multiple stores to one server using Cs-cart Ultimate was not positive. Once we did this our SEO ranking dive bombed. Google saw all on the same server and killed our ranking. We even had dedicated IP addresses for each, but didn't help. I believe Google felt we were trying to create multiple similar sites to gain ranking on certain keywords, and it actually back fired.

 

Lesson learned.  Keep similar stores totally away from each other.

Yep i am feeling same. Seo rankings dropping for no reason at all.

@triplets If you ever get confirmation on that claim, I'd be very interested.  The physical location of a site should make no difference at all.  There must be other factors involved.

Thanks man, `cause I was gonna try the same methods, but thanks to you, now I know it would be a mistake.

What about using different versions or using not similar keywords?

I asked this question a while ago, and it seemed to fall on deaf ears, I was cautious so didnt use it to its potential yet
