How Do I Set Up A Test Site

Hi,

I would like to setup a test site where I can test changes to the code/templates/shipping calculations, etc... without affecting my live site.

How do I do that? Can i just install to a different directory and reuse my license for that? Or do I also have to configure some settings to let CS Cart know this is only a test site.

Generally, if the domain name is the same, you’ll be fine. I.e. test.foo.com or foo.com/test.

You can use the same license, but the store should be closed for public. E.g. use the default Close store-front feature
