There should be an extra field for "Invoice Date"
we have orders that come in and the invoice gets generated up to 3 weeks later. We legally need an 'Invoice Date', not just 'order date'
This should really be a default behaviour of cs-cart.

Yep, I am missing "today date" feature for invoices too. Also timestamp includes date with hours and minutes now is this really required?
I totally agree, it is needed in every EU country to have date of invoice. My problem is even bigger, bec Cs-Cart does not generate invoices, only order numbers. Yes, when I am in the order it shows Print invoice PDF, but it prints order no. instead invoice no.. Please look: http://take.ms/EYjif and http://take.ms/BdUi4z Any idea??
Goto admin order staused and change from default to invoice order or credit memo. This will make new number not order nr.
I really hope this gets implemented soon. Will save me from doing any mods.
Darius: you can edit the invoice template and remove the time portion if you don’t want it displayed on invoice.
Erol: yes it does generate invoice numbers. Like Darius mentioned just edit the status options of a particular status.
Timestamp is good for orders, but for the invoice I need date today be printed. Cs-cart added many stuff to document manager but no option to print today data.
