I would love to see an Addon for either AfterPay or Zippay, is this in the works at all?

Looks like nobody integrated these gateways yet. Our team is at your service!

We use eWay and they have announced recently:

"eWAY has now partnered with zipPay to give your customers the added opportunity to buy now and pay for their purchases over time – always interest free."

I prefer this method of integrating zippay as it does not overload our cscart with more add-ons.

Hello has anyone implemented zippay with eway

The current situation for Australian CS-Cart users is that there is no buy now pay later

that integrates with CS-cart. Unfortunately this means that there is greater pressure

for Australian CS-Cart users to abandon CS-Cart in favour of alternatives like Shopify or

Bigcommerce.

I know that bundled add ons that come free with CS-Cart are paid extras with eCommerce

alternatives but the pressure is still there.

Is there any way that Simtech can approach all Australian CS-Cart users and pass the hat around

with a view to making an add on for say AfterPay or Zippay ??

This might involve all users upgrading to the latest CS-Cart but there must be a way.

Having a custom add on is quite simply beyond the means of most CS-Carts users.

Is this one for real ??

https://marketplace.cs-cart.com/add-ons/integrations/afterpay-for-cs-cart.html

Most likely for real but Afterpay have indicated that 3rd party add ons will be knocked back :(

If you are looking for a ZipPay integration we have one ready to go - https://foxandlee.com.au/how-to-connect-cs-cart-to-zippay-and-zipmoney/

We don't sell it as a plugin/add-on but it is an add-on that we can install on your site providing you have version 4 and above.

Get into contact with us and we can help get ZipPay or ZipMoney on your site.

Don't know how good these guys are but here is a plugin that works - https://foxandlee.com.au/how-to-connect-cs-cart-to-zippay-and-zipmoney/

Got it a few weeks ago and still working well.

Well the time has come to decide on paying the upgrade subscription fee yet again and sadly - after 10 years wth CS Cart (began in 2009 with v2.1) - i am looking elsewhere.

How can you be a 'Leading E-Commerce Platform' and NOT feature this sort of integration in 2020. I don't care who's fault it is. I just cannot continue with no support for AfterPay or ZipPay, when my competitors offer this payment option.

Thanks for the memories :-(

from a loyal Australian CS Cart user.

rtsMARK ....I had to go the Shopify route but would love to go back

to CS-Cart one day. Every little thing out of the box with CS-Cart is

a paid monthly add on with Shopify. It stinks.

In my experience to date, the main AfterPay customers have just

been my regulars using AP instead of PayPal.

I understand the CBA was implementing an AP style system where

CBA customers could get the AP style payment plan using their

credit card, so no special plug in required at all.

If more banks start using this system I will be moving back to CS-Cart.

In June we plan to release addons for ZipPay and AfterPay integration. Do not leave CS-Cart :)

That sounds like great news but will these add ons have AfterPay and ZipPay permission ?
My understanding is that AfterPay in particular is not accepting 3rd party add ons.

I am not trying to be negative at all and really want to be able to get back to CS-Cart and give

Shopify with it's paid add ons the flick. None of Shopify's reward points 'paid' add ons have the

flexibility of CS-Cart's. Heck...you even have to pay for something as basic as a Filter.

Buying into Shopify is like buying a bloody skeleton. It's not just Shopify either. Every other

system I have tried requires a whole bunch of paid add ons to function like an out-of-the-box CS-Cart.

I hope you make our Aussie dreams come true eComLabs.

The integration with CS-Cart is tested by AfterPay team now. The ability to release this integration as separate module will be discussed a little bit later

We have made many payment integrations for CS-Cart.

Our developers are ready to develop the payment integrations for Australian market, if you need.

Check PM please.

Best regards,

Alt-team.

Developers need to come up with an approved plug in then sell it as an add on.
Given that the likes of AfterPay and ZipPay don't charge for their plug ins if

you are using Shopify or BigCommerce, the price would have to be reasonable.

Also, with AfterPay, you need to make an application and be approved by them so it's

not just a matter of simply buying an add on and 'plugging in' to their system.

This is the case in Australia.
