Store front is fine ( sort of ). The main page displays ( and I can navigate around all links ) but clicking on any listed product makes it fall over.

I guess because the admin end is not functioning. Go to admin and login screen shows but after logging in I get 'service unavailable'.

I haven't touched anything prior. Working fine before I went to sleep now nothing nice.

License verification problem ????

I don't have the faintest idea.

This is the most recent stuff from the cpanel error log.
Maybe there is a clue for someone who knows how to interpret this stuff.

This is just plain unexplainable. It came back to normal BY ITSELF...WTF !!

'maybe' it was 'repair database' that did it. I remember repairing it but nothing good happening. Maybe a lag in updating ?

Glad it's back but totally crapped of at it's seeming moodiness.

Maybe you ran out of free space on your server?

You could get visitor load larger then usual, bot indexation, or doss ;) , more cache..

My host calculates disk space not as we understand but file total quantity to disk size ratio, that is called "Inode limit"

My cs-cart installation with approx 5k products, my disk space 50 GB (used 14.0 GB) makes 36% inodes that can easily increase to 60%+ as a safty precaution my host has auto disk size increase so I would not break DB, sure this results in a bill..

With latest carts above 44x caching is managed quite well, but earlier versions created millions of tiny files in var/cache.. make inode limits go crazy..

Geez Darius. Another thing to worry about...lol

It's odd though that my shopfront still loaded OK and I was able to browse

freely until I tried to load a product.

I have been having a similar issue for about 30 hours:

1. The front of the cart works fine. People can log in and place orders.

2. But we can not log into the admin panel. TImes out and says "Connection Reset"

3. I  set errors to show and this is the result below.

4. I have changed no coding for several weeks. We have 40% Free Space.

5. I cleared cache etc... restarted VPS and container.

6. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

7. Latest version of CS-CART has run fine for a couple of weeks.

In these times most people have fast internet so geographical location of a server

is not as important as it once was.

My greatest wish is for Simtech or CS-Cart or whoever to set up their own server farm

so that compatibility issues can become a thing of the past.

It would be a hybrid of SAAS and our current situations.

Well markhedley, a warning like "CS-Cart is not suitable for shared hosts" would have been nice.

It might have prevented me experiencing intermittent 'mess ups' over the last 4 years.

Shared Hosting == VPS generally :-) You are sharing space on a physical system with other Virtual Private Servers so essentially the same thing Darius :-)

Not exactly on shared server you cannot choose OS, php version, dedicated resources and so on.

I got now VPS but without root, with professional supervision. They do configuration what ever I request.

markhedley. Research ?? I run a business and don't have the faintest clue about software and possible conflicts.

Asking the likes of me to 'research' is almost funny.

johnbol1, does it require a super brain for this 'dedicated' stuff or deep pockets ?

Can you advise what dollars per month you pay ? By pm is fine.

Well, if you aren't doing any R&D as a Business owner I can only offer my condolences :-) I would suggest to get a Cloud Dedicated or Physical Dedicated solution in place with a good Service Level Agreement (SLA) as well.

I manufacture termite control products. This is where I prefer to focus R&D and

neither have the time or inclination to make myself conversant with the foibles

of code.

During installation CS-Cart is able to run a routine whereby the destination server

is evaluated for compliance to run the cart. Perhaps the CS-Cart team are more

deserving of your 'condolences' inasmuch as their own R & D has failed to come

up with a sufficiently comprehensive compliance routine.

If there is so much trouble with so many server configurations then doesn't

it make sense for CS-Cart to offer their own server packages.
I myself have a shared server re-seller account where I can host many sites.

Why in blazes can't CS-Cart do the same thing ?
