The add-on integrates your store with the TaxJar service that allows you to calculate the taxes automatically for the state, county, city and special taxing district level. The taxes database of the service is regularly updated, so no worries about the sales tax calculation accuracy anymore.

TaxCalcs by TaxJar add-on is very easy to configure. You just need to enter your API key and will have all the tax rates available. Moreover, if you are Multi-vendor store owner, your vendors can use their own API key. You will not have to worry about rate updates as TaxJar will care about it.

I just purchased and installed the taxjar add. I added the api received from taxjar however I am receiving the following error message:

Error403 Forbidden – Not authorized for resource

I get the message when accessing the shopping cart and when trying to 'update tax codes' in the addon settings window.

Any ideas, what might be causing the error.

I wonder if this has to do with the taxjar license. Do I need to input it some where?

Now the data about changes in the order is sent to TaxJar. You can choose statuses for sending information and use CSV-export of orders to pass them to TaxJar.

hello, can this addon be used automaticly ? on storefront... detecting customer or ... a global tax rule then applied to products ? or do i have manually to add this ? any option to csv or automate this ?

Hello!

Taxes are calculated automatically for customer's address at the storefront. Tax rate is taken from TaxJar, so your taxes are always actual. All you need is to enter your API key.

I think it is just the name of the tax set in the admin panel.

I have an update for our TaxCalcs by TaxJar add-on:

- The ability to get the tax by 1 transaction has been added.
- The address fields has been added to requests sent to TaxJar.
- Tax calculation uses Nexus for all the states.
- A request is sent to TaxJar every time in spite of information about Nexus of other states which are saved in CS-Cart.

Hello - we are using TaxCalc by TaxJar add-on, and it is showing the sales tax multiple times on the cart if you have items from different stores in your cart. How can this be consolidated into one Sales Tax field?
