We are researching the possibility of changing our business model to give 100% of the sales to the vendor, and not keep any commission.
Is it possible for the customer to pay the vendor directly during the checkout? We want the full payment to go the vendors PayPal so they are also 100% responsible for the refund or chargeback if that is the case. We only want to charge a standard monthly see for a vendor membership which we will process these payments separate from CS-Cart platform.
So in the CS-Cart platform, we want all payment processing to be done directly to the vendors.. Is this possible?

It can be done with the PayPal Adaptive Payments and Stripe Connect gateways. Both can be found on the marketplace. If you have any other questions, please let me know

I see that module.. With this add-on, do the funds first filter through our PayPal account prior to being deposited into the vendors account?
We do not want to hold or accept the funds in anyway.. We want to the processing to be handled by each vendor on their own.
It supports the concept of parallel payments in which there is no need to hold the money prior to being deposited into vendors account. The amount gets directly transferred to the respective vendor's account. If you still have any query please feel free to contact us at support@webkul.com

So is this feature now included? Is version 4.5.1 already released, or when will it be released?

Latest version is 4.4.3
4.5.1 approximately will be released in February-March.
We want to split the total price, we get 40%, vendor gets 60%. We want to sell downloadable products only.
Do we have to manually pay the vendors on a schedule, such as monthly?
Or does Multi-Vendor have some automated way of sending the vendors their cut, via PayPal or Stripe or ACH?
If it's automated, when does it happen? As soon as payment is received? Or at some later time on a schedule?
If the payment is made to the vendor immediately, then what happens when someone requests a refund? How is it deducted back from the vendor?
Maybe that's an argument for only paying vendors monthly...?
But really I'm trying to figure out, if we end up with 100's of vendors, will it be an absolute nightmare to get them all paid their correct amounts, involving lots of manual work?
