We are happy to announce to you our new add-on - Checkout by Vendor.
 
This add-on divides products in the cart into groups according to their origin (vendor). With the add-on installed in the store, Vendors can create their own payment methods and the customers will be able to place an order using the created vendor payments. As for Vendor commission, the Administrator can get the vendor's commission paid via special orders.
 
You can check the functionality of the separate order placement in the storefront here and see the list of Vendor commission orders in the administration panel here.

Key features: 

• Products in the cart are automatically grouped by vendors on the category page.
• Vendors can create their own payment methods.
• Customers can place the order for the vendor's products using the vendor's payment method.
• Products of other vendors are stored in the cart and the customer is offered to place the order for them directly after placing the first order.
• If the customer uses the vendor's payment method, all money will go to the vendor directly.
• The Vendor pays Vendor commission via special orders in the personal account in the storefront. These orders are created by the administrator together with the payout.

Compatibility: Multi-Vendor 4.3.x - 4.8.x.

Can I suggest something you could add to make this add-on better?  

 

When a customer calculates shipping on the cart page you should add a field at the bottom of each vendors products for the total of shipping on their products on the cart page.  This way they know the total per vendor if they checkout for each.  

 

Also, add an option in the add on settings so that the admin can remove the option to checkout by each vendor.

 

And also add an option for the main admin to not allow vendors to add their own payment.

We will add this functionality to the next release of the add-on.

These features are available in the current version of the add-on.

Thank you for the message. No, we did not add this functionality to our add-on. 

 

The add-on is not compatible with the latest version of Multi-Vendor cause latest versions contains most part of our add-on functionality.
