Not sure if anyone noticed but there is basically no difference if you navigate categories under grid view, compact view or other, under mobile all look pretty much same just more or less text loaded. How this actually helps?
I have made some snapshots of popular sites like amazon and ebay, how they present products compared to cs-cart.
and thay are all same! Centered image + - more or less text loaded... There is no way to see a really short list as in desctop view with image floating on left.
Hi,
this is a grid view of a category. It depends of what do you have enabled in the current view (add to cart button, price, quick view button etc.)

This what do you see in the screenshot, is layout how is displayed on a mobile device. The layout is set up in a block of the hompage as: Grid > Mainbox general
I know what you mean! If you keep the phone in the portrait position there is virtually no change except the size of the product picture. I have noticed changes if you turn the phone to a landscape position but it would be nice if there were more options for the portrait mode.
Exactly. Made some css changes now am pretty happy with result.
Besides very strange logic that grid view on portrait phone removes hides add to cart, while compact view (what would mean space saver to fit max to screen) takes nearly more space then grid view, why the heck such is needed then ?
