Unfortunately we have already been paid to develop the MOD. We would be working to develop the MOD and were looking for input so that we capture all the features. We expect to complete the MOD soon.

We expect the MOD to be ready in approx 8 - 10 days
I don’t know what this thread is about as the “Mod Club” has led the development of Dynamic Tabs 1.0 which was finished and completed for v1.3.4.
Dynamic Tabs 2.0 for v1.3.5sp1+ is currently under development by the Mod Club, expected delivery is several weeks which is good because by that time sp2 will be available and more stable and we’ll be able to test tabs on sp2.
Q: Why do we need to code this Addon again if it’s already done?
A: because the tab and image functionality was completely changed in 1.3.5 which rendered 1.0 almost completely useless, in addition we’re adding new features in 2.0 that didn’t exist.
To make a long story short Dynamic Tabs was born into existence through the generous donations of forum members who helped fund development costs for new Addons with the hopes our Addons will be included in CS. It’s this generosity that is and has made this one of the best e-commerce solutions ever. Several of the Addons you have in CS today are because forum members paid to have them developed and included in the cart. Our hopes are that we continue to receive donations at paypal@snorocket.com to further develop this Addon and to have the many great ideas and feature improvements included in Dynamic Tabs 2.0.
How would anyone know what the Mod Club had done or is doing as the website doesn’t exist.
I would be interested to know how you came about the information that this mod is due for completion in a few weeks or that sp2 will be out in a similar timeframe. Is there some other source of information besides these forums to folow to get this type of information?

right now I am the contact for the Mod Club, however in the future, maybe in 2008 we’ll appoint a new contact, the CS forums is the official mod club website for now. The mod club has already released Testimonials and Newest Products for 1.3.4 which are now included in 1.3.5. The mod club is currently working on Dynamic Tabs and have been waiting for v1.3.5 to become more stable to continue development, when it’s done we’ll work on another Addon. Anyone who donates towards the development of any current mod club mod is a member of the club and recieves mods completed by the club by email…
Example, how does the club work? members donate money to the club which is used towards the development of Addons that the club votes on having, most members in the past have donated anywhere between $25-$100, so in the case of Dynamic Tabs it cost over $600+ to develop for 1.3.4, so a $25+ donation got members a $600+ Addon, this is the purpose of the club, what Addon will we work on next, we’ll discuss and vote on that when Tabs is done and bug free, also you only have to donate towards mods you want, if there if money left over it is transferred towards the development costs of the next mod, or in the case of dynamic tabs wasted on fixing bugs…lol, we’ll get the bugs cleaned out this time, we have a few new features and a more stable version…
I just sent you $25 through paypal. Great job and well done on your efforts. Do you have a more precise ETA for Dynamic Tabs 2.0 for v1.3.5sp1 + do you have a current beta release I can field test now?
Thanks for the donation, the more donations we get the better the Addons we can make and the more features we can add, right now all we have is Dynamic Tabs 1.0 for v1.3.4, I can send you that one but I think you’d be wasting time as 1.3.5 is alot better and worth waiting for, ETA is still several weeks, we’ve added a few additional features which I think people will like…

I hope you plan on releasing it for free because we’re releasing the original mod for free…also it would have been best for you to choose another name other then Dynamic Tabs because now there is confusion between what the mod club coded for free over 1.5 yrs ago and what your doing now, but anyways, no big deal…
