CS-Cart not Mac-friendly?

I tested CS-Cart on my Mac laptop. Safari just crashes when I try to add an item and IE wouldn’t even add an item. Is CS-Cart not Mac-friendly?

Not “Mac-Friendly”

Store manager doesn’t work for Macs / Unix

Known bugs in safari

We run CS-Cart and use Macs without too many problems. Store Manager and Live Help do not work since they are Windows applications and there appear to be a few glitches in displaying buttons in the admin area which the developers typically sort out when reported to them. We have no trouble running the front-end in Safari (2.0.x or 3.0.x) on either 10.4.x or 10.5.

What version of Safari are you running?

Thanks Jesse. I wish it was though. :frowning:

Store Manager just needs to be replaced by a proper upgrade script like those used by most other vendors. This would provide support for Windows, Mac and Linux users.

I just visited your site and was able to both add an item and then delete that item using Safari 3.0.4 with no problems.

Thanks for the help! Maybe my Safari and IE need to be upgraded. :o

You may well be running the latest version of IE - it has not been updated for Mac in several years (since 2003). The most current version is 5.2.3 for Internet Explorer X (for Mac OS X). Fortunately, very few Mac users are still running IE if they are running OS X.

Bob

I just tested adding and deleting an item on your site using Safari 2.0.4 on Mac OS X 10.4.10 and everything appears to be working there as well. I do not have any older versions of Safari or Mac OS X versions prior to 10.4 to test with but everything appears fine for the last two releases )which is what we mostly see in our logs).

Bob

Thanks Bob for taking the time to do this. I really appreciated it.
