The CS-Cart Product Labels add-on allows you to show unlimited promotional tags like “NEW”, “HIT”, “BLACK FRIDAY”, “CYBER MONDAY”, “NEW SEASON”, “NEW COLLECTION”, “ONLY AT”, “FREE SETUP”, “PRESENT” for products on the product listing page and product details page.

The CS-Cart Product Labels add-on allows to:

— assign labels to individual products;

— filter products by label. Help your customers quickly find the product they’re searching for;

— export/import labels in CVS format;

— produce bulk editing of selected products;

— use multiple labels for each product. For example show “Cyber Friday”, “Sale” and “Hit” labels at the same time;

— highlight “On sale”, “New” products and special offers;

— attract customers with bright and contrast labels;

— increase your customers’ shopping experience;

— focus your customers’ attention on certain products;

— provide the most important product offer information.

How it works

After you have installed the add-on you add labels to products you want to highlight. Go to Products - Products, select a product, open the Add-ons tab and tick the boxes with the labels you want to add to this product.

On the product page you will see the result. Bright colorful labels draw the attention to the main features of the product.

With this add-on you can easily export and import products and produce bulk editing. To export labels go to Products page and find Label in the Available fields and move it to the Exported fields. Export files and specify tags for products in the exported csv file.

Unfortunately, no. All labels should be added manually.

I have very good news! We have added automatic assign of New and Hit labels. Now you just need to specify the number of days for which the product is considered as "New" and number of purchases that makes the product "Hit", then configure the cron script that will assign labels to the necessary products.

The names of the labels are the language variables. You can translate them as usual at Administration/Languages.

The first one is graphic labels on the product detail and category pages.

The 2-nd feature is the ability to manage label position in a product image. 4 positions are available: bottom-left, bottom-right, top-left, top-right. So you can easily change the place, where the label is displayed.

We have added separate pages for each label with the following structure: example.com/index.php?dispatch=products.labels.. For example, on the example.com/index.php?dispatch=products.labels.new_collection page all products with New collection label will be displayed.

As you can remember, our Product Labels add-on assigns New and Hit labels automatically, but these labels were not deleted automatically. Now this is resolved - the automatic deletion of the New and Hit labels has been added.

Now you will see notifications if no New product or no Hit product was found during the cron script execution.

You will also find new Display "Hit" during period setting that allows you to choose the period when product is considered as Hit.

Recommended frequency of running the script - once a day.

Could you please fix the collection of labels. Right now, every label is queried from the database resulting in extreme cases where 24 products on the category page, with labels, make an additional 48+ database requests. Where for every label, you get one more database request on top of that.
