Has anyone used iContact or emailadcampaigns.com? I’m thinking about using an email blast advertising solution to bring start traffic to my new site. Anyone have any other suggestions and success stories? I’ve dabbled with yahoo search marketing but all i get is clicks and used up funds in my campaign. Does the SEO in cs-cart really work? I’ve filled in the Meta desc and meta keywords as well. Do you feel that doing so helped? I have only been live 3 days and have uploaded my google sitemap, uploaded to googlebase, and promoted on facebook. So yes I know it can take weeks to get real traffic(i have had 94 visits so far). But I just want to know if there is more I should do and what works?

Actually, enabling the SEO module increase my traffic and sales immediately. We used google, msn, yahoo, goclick but didn’t improve the performance level. The traffic was flowing but no sales with them. I can tell you that with SEO and some links exchange we are in a cool position in terms of sales.
We refused to deploy the email marketing becuase my partner believe that 95% of the emails might end up in the junk folder if not deleted by the mail server system. You must submit your domains to search engines. It takes time but you will surely be there very soon. Online business is not like retail stores, you have to have what it takes to be trusted.
