This is mandatory.
Everything what is charged to customer should be presented.
Of course if you have calculated the somekind of shipping surcharge price in to product then there is no shipping price... it's not logical and also not basicly legal to offer free shipping and hide the shipping price inside product price

Is it possible to disable the the New Email Templates and keep using the New Invoice and Packing Slip documents. I really like the new documents but can't say the same about the new email templates.

Unfortunately you can use only both, because they heavily depend of each other.

Yes you're right. The different taxes are setup in cs directly under taxes option.
But if there are different taxes enabled then the documents editor we is called now should jump in to display such options like above described.
Can you please retry to add different tax rates and check the posssible output.
Best wishes

Using subtotal taxes I got the following: https://www.evernote...tktj-D_nEmp6puw

Using product base prices, I got this: https://www.evernote...PpJAIcMjWUcqxn8

Can you point me to exact case and what would you like to change.

Hi imac,

Easy way. I click on the free shipping option in admin panel, but want to calculate in invoice.

Because I am paying shipping charges and the customers know that I have to pay shipping charges.

hello,

yes cs is handling different taxes very nice now but

i was talking about a name of a tax on the invoice

when you look a the

https://www.evernote...1c32359472ac67f

we are charged somekind of tax and it's not clear what is that or how much is it. so that vat name (rate) should be also added to the editor so the output will like vat 20% $15, tax 10% 21,67.

in other words we need this variable which is holdig rates, tax name or whatever is called.

second.

cs is handling invoices on somekind reverse way.

when you look at

https://www.evernote...1c32359472ac67f

you see that the price already has tax included and the tax is extracting from that price and the item total is the same as price

Of course this is one way but probably never used.

Proper solution is :

pretax price , qty , tax rate, tax amount, price with tax

Also I belive some other people will also here support this idea.

solution is to add a variable with which contains the pretax price and the variable which is holding tax names or rates....

regards

Cannot understand whats your problem ?

VAT 10% included $84.36
Tax2 50% $450.00

Tax2 is up to you how you call it, rate is presented, even tax nr is presented if set, tax total is show..

Possibility to present included tax and excluded tax is presented. Tax charged on subtotal..

Can you clarify what is missing?

pretax price , qty , tax rate, tax amount, price with tax

Demonstration is for subtotal calculations but your question sounds like referring to unit tax calculations its two complete opposite!..

Imac asked sometime ago to present invoice, you could give him one of your complicated invoices where you show what exactly you cannot achieve in cs-cart.

hello,

are you're pointing that there is a pretax price variable and the rate or name of the tax in the editor? i didnt' find it to form a invoice in that order

pre tax price, qty , tax rat e, tax amount, item total without tax, item total with tax (price with tax)

example :

10 $, 1 , 17%, 1.17$, 10$, 11,70$

regards

This is exactly why I walked in to this discussion. You confuse developer by mixing two tax calculation methods together..

It is clear to me that you need a unit price tax calculation while most sellers like myself sell single tax rate products and it is not required to present unit price with and without tax.

Here is from legislation

- seller

- buyer

- name of product

- quantity

- unit price without tax

- discount but only if it does not reflect in stated unit price

- subtotal without tax

- tax rate and amount

- total with tax

In Lithuania there are just few service types that are different rate then 21%, as I understand in yours it is very common, so please write requirements from legislation..

you just described it unit price without tax (missing variable in cs), tax rate and amount (each).

i have suggested this idea to finally add the missing stuff to the editor (cs)

Probably you're right in point that for the end customer is not so important to separate but if you're selling to business also (both) then it's required and with current options will no go

If you mean tax rate column then yea, current product table has no variable to show tax rate..

However it is available in general tab, not sure why they did such a limited quantity of variables in product table tab..

Has anyone developed a table for the Order Tracking emails like or similar to the packing slip document. The way the email is presented seems messy.

Editing email template: Orders: products shipped
