What is your old cs-cart version? There is a Store import addon to do this if your cs-cart version is not older than 2.2.4 and it's not Community edition.

Unfortunately store import is not compatible with 4.3.7 version yet.

If its just the products and categories as you say then just export from old and import to new, as a csv file 20 minutes max
its coming from 1.3.5 SP2 to 4.3.7
