I have very specific needs in a cart and would like to hear from current users if and how well CS-Cart does or does not handle them. Here are the features I need:
Will work with two stores on one database, assigning products to one or both stores
Will allow different gateways for those stores - quickbooks merchant and Authorize.net specifically
Will include paypal as a payment option
Will download orders into quickbooks eliminating my manual entry
Will allow multiple options for products (size, color, etc.)
Will manage inventory based on specific options
Will manage inventory based on which store sold the item
Will integrate with TaxCloud for US sales taxes
Will integrate with USPO and allow me to select the options I want customers to see
Additional questions:
Does the cart email or text orders to merchant? to customer?
How satisfied are you with the mobile service?
How many pictures per product?

Yes, each store can have own payment methods. Also they can be shared among store-fronts

Yes, e-mails with invoices are sent to store administrator and customer. You can specify custom message for each order status
How satisfied are you with the mobile service?
If you are not satisfied with the default responsive theme, you can try Twigmo service.
