E-Mail Not Sent For Orders

Hi,

I am using 4.3.5 version.

I am facing issue with email notification for orders. Even if I edit order & save changes with 'Notify Customer', emails are not received by customer.

Contact Us, user registration emails work fine.

I am using sendmail to send emails. I have also checked spam folder to check notifications but with no success.

Has anyone else faced the same issue?

Regards,

Fahad

Looks like it happens only with gmail

Hello, Fahad,

Maybe this instruction will help you?

Profile updates etc are sent to gmail successfully... only issue with Orders

The page having instruction works fine for me. i.e. I get 1 as response which means correct functionality.

Not sure why issue only crops up with Orders

I'm having the same/similar issue:

Version: 4.3.6.

Using shop in dutch translation, so below texts might be slightly different.
Using supplier addon.

Succesful new orders are setup to show up in the webshop with status 'Open'.
Status 'Open' has options 'Notify customer', 'Notify order department' and 'Notifiy supplier' checked.

When customer places order, order gets set to status 'Open' and shows up under orders.
No e-mails appear to get sent: I've checked mail logs and queues on server and nothing shows up there (whereas other mails do).

If I manually change an order to another status and back to status 'Open' and leave all checkboxes checked (notify customer, order department, supplier) all 3 get the mail as expected.

I'm not sure if ahmedatnet has the exact same issue, but looks the same.

As said all other mails appear to work fine.

Just to be sure I've also tried it with smtp instead of php mail function, but the issue remains the same.

I checked my spam folder & I could see orders there

How do we fix this? Will smtp config fix this? Has anyone tried it earlier?

As mentioned, for me smtp didn't fix it :(

Strange.

Can you try to disable third-party add-ons and check again? https://www.evernote.com/l/AQFId7FmXd5GvbJX1SoFnjeMO5qtSmVLNwk

If the problem is still there please contact our tech support, they will investigate the issue on your server.

I only have 2 addons in the category 'third party' which are actually addons which I created myself and are only advanced form pages.

These addons have been around for longer than the problem exists and do nothing with orders and/or mailing, but I've disabled them anyway just to test.

But as expected, this didn't help.

I'll contact my cs-cart provider in order to work out this issue with tech support.

after configuring smtp relay, issue is fixed
