is there anything that can be done so that front pages are automatically resized according to screen size?
at the moment, i am having to add in width="100%" for each image and it's rather time consuming
The responsive theme should take care of that for you.
What them are you using?
it doesn't resize automatically unfortunately. we're using a custom theme..
just want to clarify that the images i'm referring to is for our home page using html block.

If this theme is responsive, you should contact theme developers and ask them to fix the issue.
