Order Feedback Through Email

I saw an addon which allowed taking customer feedback from with in the email. A form with details like products etc bought was sent to the customer and was asked for feedback in form of rating and comments . I am unable to find the same , does any one have a link for the same or alternate solution.

You can also find more detailed info about our EZ Auto Mailer addon by going to the product page and clicking the Attachements tab. You will then be able to download the PDF document related to the addon (same goes for all our addons). Additionally, you can get the PDF from here.

Note that you can now setup events on form submission. I.e. customer requests a fabric swatch, you can followup with them some period of time later. Or customer submits contact-us form, you can ask them in a couple of days how your service was, etc.....

PLEASE DON'T MODIFY THE DISTRIBUTED TEMPLATES. They are there as examples. The proper thing to do if you want to modify them is to copy them (and the associated subj template) to a new name and then use that new template in your events. This will ensure that any future updates do not overwrite the distributed templates you may have modified. Bad surprises can happen.

We have to also suggest tbirnseth EZ Auto mailer Addon.. We've had it for years.. We send a followup email 12 days after order is shipped asking for reviews and a 30 day email reminding customers of their earned reward points. Also a 90 day followup telling them to come back and check out whats new.. It generates 30% of our monthly sales along with creating long time returning customers. Worth every penny... Crazy not to have this addon..

Google Analytics bounces back and forth between 20% and 30% for our followup email revenue.

Although our last upgrade wiped out my email templates. Not your fault. Not sure what cs-cart it trying to do.

Not sure what version you upgraded from. But if it was from V3, then there was a whole process that should have been automated.

If it was V4.x to V4.x should not have been an issue since they are in the backend/mail/templates/addons/auto_mail/{LANG_CODE} directory structure. If you modified the distributed templates, then they will be overwritten by our upgrades. Please heed the warning in thread #5 above.

sounds like that's what I did... I will be working on them tomorrow to get them all straightened out and redone..

Upgrade was from V4.3.2 to V4.3.3.... Also for whatever reason you got emailed of the upgrade on my site and our primary admin account was deleted... Just love upgrades... NOT..

I remember that. Have no clue on that one.

But please only use the mail templates we distribute with the auto_mail addon as examples and copy them to other names to use them. Then we won't clobber them if we update them or redistribute the examples. In the future, we will start naming things differently like 'sample1', 'sample2', etc. to try and discourage use of examples.

Can I see a demo of this plugin? The PDF has some old screenshots it seems. Also is the content of the email customizable ?

Sorry, there's no demo available (for obvious spam concern reasons).

All the templates are customizable (in fact we encourage it). You simply copy the distributed templates (and their related subj files) to new names and make your modifications there. The names do have a certain format. I.e. they must start with the type of action (..e. order, form, profile) but after that, you can have them suit your needs.). Carstickers above uses names like order_12_day_feedback.tpl and 35_day_offer.tpl, etc.which shows for them in the templates menu as "12_day_feedback" and "35_day_offer" for "order" type events.

Yes, the screenshots are old but functionally is the same. Note that this addon has been around since V2 so it's pretty stable and has many customers on many different versions. Some of the screenshots are V2 admin and some are V3 or V4.
