Hide Add To Cart Button And Price Information

Hello All,

I need help hiding the Add to Cart button and the Price information on each product page on cs cart. In its place, I would like to add a text area to the right of each product image where I can just add custom text for each product. Do i need to edit the product template or anything? Please advice.

Set the Settings -> General -> Allow shopping for unlogged customers setting to Hide price and the "Add to cart" button. Then remove the My account block to not allow customers register new accounts and see the prices.

As for the extra text, please use the Promo text field

OK everything up until allowing shopping for unlogged customers worked great. But am lost when it comes to the "remove the My account block to not allow customers register new accounts and see the prices." part. How do I do that? I'm still a newbie to Cs Cart, and would appreciate directions.

I also need directions when it comes to using Promo text field.

See screen shot for My account block. As for the Promo text, you can either edit it via the product page, bulk edit, or import via csv.

How can I hide the Add to Cart in Grid View and/or List View per Category page? Any ideas on how to do that? I want to force customers to view the product detail page prior to buying if that makes any sense?

I have created a free addon for the grid view http://www.cscart.biz/category-grid-lookz.html

You can do following changes:

1. Truncate Product Titles as you wish (also seperate for product blocks)

2. Show/HIde the SKU

3. Show/HIde the buy Button

4. Show/HIde the Availability

5. Show/HIde the Quick View Button (just for categories not the whole store)

For the list view i going to need some hooks to be overriden in order to achive the same thing

Is there any way I can hide the ADD TO CART or OPTIONS button while in Grid view, List view and/or Catalog view? I have NO idea how to go about this, and have scoured the net looking for a solution but to no avail. There has got to be a solution out there somewhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
