Page Title Format

I've read that page names should contain lower case only and "-" instead of spaces. Is this true of page titles as well? For example, which would be better: "raggedy-ann-large" or "Raggedy Ann large"? Or does it not make a difference?

Thanks for any insights.

I think you have SEO name and Page title confused with each other.?

Thanks for reply. No, I'm thinking about what appears above the url box in the clickable tab area. From your comment I take it that "Raggedy Ann large" is a good page title. "raggedy-ann-large" is the SEO name for this page but I wondered if making it page title as well would be better for SEO. Since most of my page titles are like "Raggedy Ann large" I guess I they're done correctly.

Page title is for humans while SEO name is for bots. About 5 years ago there was a trend with webmasters making the SEO name more human friendly by making the SEO name with the first letter capitalized (Raggedy-Ann-Large) but it was short lived.

Page titles should be human readable. The mentioned condition is used for SEO names only
