Hello,

Can someone please advise how can I change the language from the email notifications? In the admin panel, the frontend and backend language is set to Romanian, but the emails (subject and content) that are sent when an order is updated or when a new profile is created, are sent in English.

Thanks for your help!

Hello,

You should ask about it in other forum category like "General questions" or "Issues & Troubleshooting".

Update: Topic is moved.

So you have only Romain language in your CS-Cart?

First make sure that text from email are translated. Go to the Administration -> Languages -> Translation and look for languages variable that are used in email. E.g. "customer_text_letter_footer" - make sure its translated to Romanian.

Hi imac,

Thanks for your reply. I checked the translation before I started this topic and yes, the translation exists. For example, the new_profile_notification variable for the Subject of the email is translated in the admin area.

What CS-Cart version do you use?

The order emails should be based on the value of the $order_info['lang_code'].  I.e. the language the order was placed in.

Hi tbirnseth,

I changed the backend language to Romanian and most of the email subjects are sent into Romanian, but not all of them, even if they have a translation. For example the "new_profile_notification" variable which is translated on backend, it is still sent in English on the email's subject.

These e-mail-notifications are not in the language pack, for some reason. To change them, go to: Administration/Order statuses
