Hi

My version is 4.3.3

Everything has been working fine for a while until suddenly the below issues cropped up
Yesterday I noticed editing products in the admin panel is broken
  • I cannot edit products (please see screenshot)
  • I cannot search any products (returns blank page)
  • Page initiation at the bottom throws an "internal server error"

Front end was working fine, product export import is fine too

Today I notice that one (only one) of the product categories on the front end is not loading - "service not available" message is displayed when I try to access that specific product category on the front end

I am not sure what has triggered this suddenly since there has been no installation, or any changes made either in the admin panel or the server

Appreciate any help / advice

Resolved this was an imagick issue

Hi sap,

I'm having a similar problem with internal search and also a poor quality thumbnail in some areas of the site I'm working on now.

Could you please indicate what was the issue with Imagick that caused your site's crash? Was it something related to hosting? Imageick version? Imagick settings?

Any comment from you would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Regards,

Marc

Hi Marc

I checked the error message and realised the errors were caused by imagick on the server so I went back to gd for images and abandoned imagick for now

Hi sap,

Thanks for yor comments! I'll explore my issue in more detail, maybe I'll have to change to GD as well.
