Hi, I also have Payu and CC Avenue installed on my website but the perfect solution will be getting these features in default version of CS cart so that it can attract more peoples from India. Indian eCommerce industry is growing and some of the big eCommerce brands are already entered in to India.
As a development company we have a huge amount of requests from Indian customers. I think that this fact can be taken as an indication.
According to Google trends CS-Cart is not so popular in India as Magento or Prestashop.
It started to gain little popularity in India only since 2012.
We, Alt-team - development company, have been working with CS-Cart and Magento since 2010 year.
Our client manager noticed that last time the percent of Indian customers who are interested in CS-Cart, has increased dramatically.
The conclusion, we can not say that CS-Cart is a perfect solution for Indian market. Magento is the perfect solution for Indians. But nobody can reject that in some years CS-Cart can be a well known system in India.

CS-Cart is good and excellent CMS for online shopping in India, but not perfect.
Perfect means ideal.
- CS-Cart has a set of payment and shipping add-ons that are oriented to world market, not Indian by default.
- Third-party development companies have released some add-ons that aimed to Indian market, but there are few of such solutions.
- It goes without saying that it is possible to order any CS-Cart modification, but it is more expensive than a ready-to-use add-on.
- There is no translation into Hindi in Cs-Cart. I know that English language in used in India as one of the main languages. But Hindi is also important for Indian customers.
But, of course, it will be interesting to see the opinion of the CS-Cart customers who are selling products in India. Sure that they can share with weak and strong points of CS-Cart system for Indian market.

It is pleasant news to me.
But in our practice Indians often ask us about payment gateways that are popular in India. So not enough companies provide Indian customers with the free of charge add-ons.
Recently we were asked about Citrus Integration.
Also AirPay and GoCoin gateways are popular in India and there is no free solution of CS-Cart integration with these systems.
As we have examined these payment gateways offer free add-ons only for the very famous shopping carts such as Magento, Prestashop, WooCommerce, VirtueMart, but not for CS-Cart.

Not true. I think only PayU peoples are helping store owners to install PayU on their websites other are not. If CS cart management realy wish to make a footprint in India then they need to do something for Indian market and I'm sure that they can easiely achieve a sound position in India
