permission of the cs-cart directories(can be 755) Rate Topic   - - - - -

Hello all,


The current premission are 777.


Does anyone tried 755?
Does it brake anything?

During installation their is section that tells you the directory permissions, I don't know them off the top of my head.

the permissios are 777 on most(if not all) of the directories and the files also..

It is said that they should 777 during the install but after it i think they should be changed.

Just a FYI, I enabled 777 on all my directories & files and left install.php as 755. It allowed me to install into another folder which I'm trying to test.

just make sure you don't leave them at 777 after you install ;)
