Hi all, please can someone help, I'm really stressed out with the announcement by Sagepay that "I must" upgrade to their 3.00 protocol otherwise I'll no longer be able to accept payments from July this year.

I'm using a VERY OLD version of cs-cart (1.3.4-sp3) due to the amount of customisation and whilst I appreciate it is very old, it has worked perfectly for my ecommerce site.

I'm completely at a loss with how the new Sagepay protocol works, I'm not a coder so their integration guides don't help me at all. It seems my system already provides them with all the required fields, but when I simply change the VPSProtocol to 3.00, it gives me error "5068 : The encryption method is not supported by this protocol version" when trying to process an order. I have no idea of the encryption I have, so unsure if everything else is ok and it is just that, or everything!

Is anyone able to help me out a little, I'm really concerned that my system can't handle it and come July, I'm going to lose my entire ecommerce business!

Hi, yes I have had a similar email from Sagepay. Sagepay have given me this link:

"Thank you for your email, to upgrade to v3.00 please follow the link below:

https://www.sagepay....t/migrate-to-v3

Kind regards,

Jenna Moreland
Customer Services Advisor
Sage Pay"

I suspect though that this will be taken care of directly via CS CART as this mod is part of the system as far as i can tell. Can someone clarify this issue please?

Thanks,

Mark

I suggest you to post this link to the bug tracker with the description of the issue.

I'm interested in this too.

Anyone from CS Cart wish to comment or advise or progress?

Thanks.

Tom.
