Hello, I have had my store for few months now. I am getting very little traffic. I know my website needs some work on the SEO part. I just wanted to know what steps do i need to take in order to optimize my SEO. I have very little knowledge regarding SEO. I provided my website link below. Any help would be great. Thanks

1. It will be good for SEO if you have a blog on your website. You may post the articles about saree. What is modern now or what colour is for each occasion. I'm not specialist in saree, but hope that you could specify the interesting themes.
   
2. Register your website in different catalogues with good rating.
   
3. Write and post press-releases about your company, your products and etc.
   
4. Be active on forums what is connected with dresses or Indian culture.

I suggest you look at the add-on from Cart-Power (Power Blog). We bought it and are happy with it. Seems to get good reviews:

When it comes to SEO it is very important to focus on your product and create content that describes and gives detail explanation about the product or services you are dealing with.



The content should be unique.



Designing of the website and other elements like product page, category page should be properly done.



To start with:

1. Search for seo analysis tool and find out the errors in the website. Resolve them
   
2. Go for Keyword research for your product or service. Google Keyword planner can help you with find search volume and competition for your product.
   
3. Create unique title, meta description and content on the webpages depending on the relevant keywords for your site
   
4. Create site map and submit it using Google Webmaster Tool.
   
5. Configure Google Analytic to check the performance of your website.
   
   For configure Google Analytic you will have to put Tracking code of analytics in your website. Once verified you can track the performance

SEO should start on your site it should start on paper. Determine the ways your customers talk about your products, the brands, the key words they use when enquring, and new fashion trend ect. Build pages with links to other sites that expand on the information related to those keywords. For example how something is made, where the incredients come from etc.



Then use social media to talk about these subjects by including a link to your site.
