Hello Alt-team

Yes that is not checked. the checkbox is empty. Thats why i dont understand its doing this.

Regards

It is verifying your license. But it shouldn't cause any issue. The returned xml should be quite small for a license check.

Suggest you contact helpdesk to find out specifics of what's going on.

Most possibly it was temporary issue on CS-Cart side

Ticket has been created, so waiting for anwser. ;)

Please do not forget to post the answer here!

Best regards, Alt-team.

I couldent believe they come with an awnser like this: Support Helpdesk

Thank you for the reply.
I should inform you that the HTTP request, mentioned in the first message of this ticket, is used by CS-Cart to check the status of your license and cannot be removed according to our License Agreement ( https://www.cs-cart.com/license.html ):
The User may not remove, disable or modify the part of the Program source code that verifies the Program authenticity and ascertains whether the User has the Free License, the Trial License, the Subscription License, the Full License or the Additional License.
In order to reduce the number of this requests, I can recommend to clear the Check for updates automatically check box on the Settings > General page of your admin panel. However, as far as I see, it is already cleared.
Also, I wanted to add that this request is only one of the hundreds of requests that are generated by the customers when they interacts with your store. So I assume the problem is that your server has a lack of resources to process them. In this case we can recommend you to change the server or the hosting plan to more powerful.
I hope it explains the situation.

It sending every hour a requests now, i think its not the normal way. A whole log on my server its al coming from My account - requests

I have my own havy server from 2010 paying 500€/year, never had problems with my old webshop platform, running fast with heavy sites.

When its keeping on like this and they dont fix it, i will need to remove the licence update code.

Agreement or NOT,

Its not normal and nessesary to request this hourly for licence, its been verifyed.

I get angry with this anwser they gave and 2 days further now with no fix. grrr

regards

The second anwser:

```php
I should inform you that this request is sent not every several hours. It is sent in three cases:
  1. When the admin is logging in to the admin panel.
  2. When the store mode is changed to the Full mode on the Settings > Licensing mode page.
  3. When the license number is re-entered on the Settings > Upgrade center page.
    ```

    They disabled and reactivated my licence. So whe will see.

    Its quit now on the server with 0.3 to 0.5% CPU, normal working.

    Regards

thanks you

Any update after reactive licences? my server having high CPU load right now <img src="upload://qv5zppiN69qCk2Y6JzaFYhrff8S.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":?">

Yes, we had to renew our server. Sql procces from cscart is to high that the sql stopped from working. So every week we needed this to reboot the system to proper working.

The memory on the server was full with 2gb mem, for that the server stopped.

So we transfered to a more havier server with 4GB memory and SSD disk now with mirror and 100% uptime.

Its the same like interspire platform, that was like Windows xp version and CS cart is like W7 -W8 on an older computer and that works slower or could crash the system.

Cscart is heavier in traffic and use, but good software en verry good for search engines.

CPU Load is between 0.025% to max 2%, if you have more there should somthing wrong.

You could made a ticket to cscart and they scanning you'r site for errors.

They did it with me and fixed the background errors for 30 credits. My module for payment was for 4.0 and worked for 4.2 but with errors on the background we dident see.

Hope you have something about this
