I have two stores setup…
store #1 should be for Canaada based customers
store #2 should be for the rest of the world.
I have the flag below checked off for each store front.
Redirect visitors of this storefront to the one that has countries to which the visitors' IP addresses belong defined
It is not redirecting to me at all. What else needs to be configured?

There is default fn_get_country_by_ip PHP function which can be helpful for this task. If you are not familiar with PHP, hire someone here to perform this modification for you.

Go to “Editing store” page (admin.php?dispatch=companies.update&company_id=COMP_ID), clicks the “Regions” tab, check in the “Redirect visitors of this storefront to the one that has countries to which the visitors' IP addresses belong defined” tick-box and move “Canada” to the left selectbox area. Then click save and check that users from Canada are redirected to necessary store.

e.g.
domain.ca (want all Canadian IP visitors to get to this page)
domain.com (want all Non-Canadian IP visitors to get to this page)
so on domain.ca should I have the region thing checked and move Canada over?

You should configure only “domain.ca” store as I described above. If you provide me with access to your store, I will try configure it for you free of charge.

Isn't one required to add the URL destination for where you want visitors from different IP addresses to go to? Sorry, it's not clear to me.
