Hi,
I have activated the supplier addon and added a shipping method for that supplier. But now the method is available even if a supplier isn't selected. In other words, I don't want the shipping I created for the supplier to be available during normal checkout. I cannot have the fee they charge available as an option. I only want that option to show with that supplier if that supplier is being used. I am using 4.0.1.

We tried to reach this by the standard CS-cart methods, but failed.

Am I missing something here - CSCart already does this - have you assigned your products to a supplier?
As I recall any products that have supplier “none” will have all shipping methods available to them.

Hi,
That's my problem. The shipping method I made that I want just for the supplier is available to anyone that checks out whether they use that supplier or not. I only want the methods I create for the suppliers be available only if that supplier is used. If no supplier is used I don't want that shipping method showing up. Right now it does.

Hi You must also assign the supplier to the shipping method you want to be used, I think this is possibly the problem!

The shipping method is assigned to a supplier (I only have one) and it works fine. It is just when a item is selected normally (no supplier product chosen) the shipping method I only want for the supplier also shows along with all the other methods. In other words, my store has 1000+ items not assigned to a supplier and then 50 items assigned to the supplier I have. I created a shipping method that I only want used when that suppliers product is added to the cart. I don't want the method shown if that suppliers product is not added to the cart.

With V4 all products need to be assigned to a supplier, the default “none” supplier does not work correctly with shipping. If you create another supplier for all your other products your shipping will work - we have had to do this since moving to V4, eg supplier1 = all products you ship your self, supplier2 = dropship products with it's own shipping method.
