I have tried integrating eWay on the cart I am currently building, and it is not integrating correctly
When I spoke to eWAY, they have said the integrated format is over 10 years old and no longer supported by them, and that cs-cart would have to upgrade to the newest rapid API Version
Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you get around it?

You can report this to cs-cart helpdesk so they can update this in the near future.

Also you can hire someone from the forum (e.g. us) to integrate the latest eWay API for you.
