I bought this theme few days back. It doesnt look good on iPad though.

  1. How do I change the width?
  2. How do I disable the image hover affects? I want to disable that allow people to click on the image to go to product page/

    Hello “mmt”

  3. You can change width from layouts. First go to layouts click on edit used layout and there you will see Minimal and Maximal width that you can change.

    2. To disable image hover you will need to know a little css. But you can go to the file editor into your admin panel. Open css folder and click on arimo folder. After that go to the end of file (line 2100) and write: .pict-hover { display: none !important; }… That it's all.

About iPad preview all it is working properly and also you can see it here in action: http://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//demo.mysticthemes.com/cs-cart/Arimo/&w=1024&h=768&a=22&s=1

    Thank you

Yes it is possible.

Please go to our helpdesk open a ticket and we will help you to make this little change.

Thank you

Alin@MysticThemes

Is this similar to Veridu where I had to spend hours to make it look like your Demo website and never happened? It was always a surprise to find stuff after stuff that was never mentioned in the installation document that I had to find out through contacting tech support. FYI, I ended up throwing it to trash can and never bothered again.

I'm sorry but yes, I had to mention this because it cost me money and time and 0 return of investment with Veridu.

Looks very nice. Like Darius I would disable the product grid hover effects. Its too distracting for me.

I would like to know if Matzers concerns are addressed.

The thing I don't like about this theme is:

When viewed at tablet and phone resolutions, the Product Detail page includes EVERYTHING in the left menu BEFORE the product. The Product NEEDS to be the FIRST thing (after the Top Panel and Header) on the page. Having to scroll past the Bestsellers list, Featured list, and two banner ads (which are in the left menu) before getting to the product is not a good shopping experience on mobile devices.

I know there is some technique to control this for the mobile and phone resolutions, but I don't know what it is.

It is not similar with Veridu, because all our themes are different in they way. In documentation we have included all details what it is needed to make, step by step to install it correctly and to appear like on our demo.

All it is done from admin panel, not from files or coding. But sometime some clients like you “Matzers” don't read carefully documentation and in that point it is normal to have some issues and to don't look like in our demo.

But if you contact us via Helpdesk we allways respond and making magic happening for you.

Yes I understand this point of vies, but this hover on product it is a new feature that we made in our theme to be something else.

If you want to don't display anymore that feature it is enought to go to your admin and in custom css to write this:

.grid-list .ty-column3 .pict-hover, .grid-list .ty-column4 .pict-hover, .grid-list .ty-column5 .pict-hover { display: none !important; }

After saving clear cache and it is done.

Thank you

If for you it is a big problem this and you know just a little bit to work with cs-cart layouts than this post it is not any problem for you. It is enought to change place of side bar grid with content gris and it is done your issue resolved.

Thank you

Alin, joking with my name will probably benefit you a lot but it won't change reality. We (2 people) at different times tried to install your theme from scratch by following every inch of your document and could never get it to work. Upon installing the template, we found out you actually didn't provide any image that was on your demo site. We had to do extra configurations that were not mentioned in installation document. When we opened ticket, we were offered installation service with extra cost. Is extra cost a big deal? No, I will pay $30-40 extra when I trust the final product but the matter is that I need to trust in the ability of a company to fulfill their promise at the first place.

I think your company has lot of good things to offer. Although I complained about documentation above, your response time to tickets were good. We could get answers to questions very easily so if you can also improve your documentation, I would recommend your templates to any store owners.

Thanks

On another note, I like to see more and more theme developers to come and work on CS-Cart platform but installation documents are essential. I installed Vivashop template on my local computer and production server many times with no problems because they had professionally prepared installation guide.

Yes, I am sorry that I was write wrong your name. It is mazter :)

Now, if you look in our Arimo product page you will see that there exist under the additional options, theme installation with sample data. This mean that we will make theme installation, setup (for images, banners, language variables, etc).

If you don’t pick this option you can install theme but without demo data (products, images, banners, etc). After installation because witch you proceed only via admin panel (no ftp) you need to activate My changes addon witch it is written in documentation. A lot of users don’t make this step and after reload website it is not showing like in our demo.

But if you do installation step by step like in documentation and activate addons that we was write in documentation theme will look like our demo, but without banners, products, etc.

We was tested and retested every theme from our website before putting it alive.

Thank you

As far as I can tell, there are no out of stock products in your online demo. What happens to the Add to Cart button in the product grid hover effect when a product is out of stock?
