Hi,

Today, we are glad to announce the new release of the CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor software.

Apart from bug fixes and improvements, we want to present you with several features to improve your store:

• Ability to edit store content (e.g., product names, prices, descriptions, button names, and many other visible elements) right in the storefront when you click the Edit Content On-Site button (Design → Themes) in the admin panel.

• The new Call Requests add-on that can simplify and speed up the process of ordering. It adds a Buy Now With 1-Click button on a product details page in the storefront.

• Two brand new storefront styles: Brightness and MTronX.

• Improved Social Login add-on with the ability to log in with PayPal accounts and the new Seamless Checkout feature.

• To change grids position, you can simply drag-and-drop them.

Upgrade
Store owners will see the update in the Upgrade Center in their admin panels within a week. If you have an active upgrade subscription, you can download the distro package from your Help Desk account’s File area.

Great job, amazing front store editor but i just discover first bug because i also facing this on the add-on Frontend editor when you edit price but also for that product is applied a promotion the price will be saved wrong

I currently have cs cart version 4.2.2. Can i just upgrade through upgrade center when the update becomes available?

really nice work on those long awaited features like grid drag n drop or paypal login.

One question though: I tried to install this on 2 different sevrers, my demo server on Arvixe (cs-cart compatible as I have almost all versions there installed) and a client servers that already runs v422

It has failed in both cases.

Arvixe gives me

Any ideas on that?

ok this was the zip file from the File area. I downloaded the .tgz file and worked fine.

I am grateful for these very nice features.
I do think it would be better if new features should only be in major releases and not in point releases. Point releases should increase stability instead of introducing possible instability with new features. If you keep introducing new features in bug fix releases then you are aiming on a moving target.

Tengo una instalación de la versión multivendor 4.2.2 en un dominio, ya termino los 30 días de Trial, puedo instalar en este mismo dominio la versión 4.2.3 y disfrutar de la versión completa durante 30 días más.

I have a multivendor installation of version 4.2.2 on a domain, and ended 30 days Trial, I can install on this same domain version 4.2.3 and enjoy the full version for 30 days.

We so need a stable version! I agree that you should not add new things to releases like this and I also feel that these small "fix" releases should be more frequent. Another idea is to allow us to upgrade individual modules or add-ons so if we have tweaked something we can work on it separately.
