Order Referrer is back!

View order referrer and search engine information in your admin order details.[/color]

This addon provides referrer information visible from the Admin view of an order. It also provides search terms used as well as ip address of the customer.[/color]

The information is displayed below the payment information area in the order details view from the admin panel.[/color]

If a known search engine is associated with the URL of the referrer, the domain name of the search engine and the search query will be also displayed along with the ip.[/color]

  1. After downloading the archive, extract it in the root of your store.[/color][color=#000000]
  2. Go to Addons and click “Install” for the Order Referrer addon. [/color]

I'm getting a screen error. The order info window seems to be too deep and it's cauing it to pop over to the right and make the window very wide.

I have fix this, please replace the file payment_info.post.tpl in /design/backend/templates/addons/referrer_info/hooks/orders with the on I post here and clean your cache (/admin.php?cc&ctpl)



You a re then good to go!

PS: the original file in cscart.biz is replaced with the right one so all first timers wont need that fix

Thanks, I did have to uninstall/reinstall to get it to take, but it's fine.



The Google IP referral is pretty much worthless…

Is there a way to add a field to the advanced search of orders so that we can search for orders that made by a referrer.

its a bit tricky to do that, as we need to build the search fucntions for that field. Its more of a custom work than in the free zone.

I just wanted a fast solution for a search that will display me the orders from a specific referrer.

Its ok for now, i'll take the results from analytics.
