I am using MVE and just wondering a few questions:

[]able to have a banner slider that is unique to his.her own store

Good day,
What do you mean by the “store of the vendor”? Multi-Vendor does not allows to create separate store for each vendor. One store-front is used for all vendors.

Not by default, but you can make it.
You can add a link to a vendor profile page to a page showing only that vendors' products. With some work you can add vendor customizable content around this view (we did).
Add some redirects for a custom URL pointing to the store page (like vendorname.sitename.com), and suddenly your vendors can effectively have a store within a store that they can promote from outside the site.
There are a ton of conditionals related to MVE or not, throughout the code. It can probably be done but you're going to have to manually manage themes within the single site. I think you're going to find that it's a lot harder than you make it out to be. The devil is always in the details. SEO is also going to cause problems with rankings when you tweak it to use different URL's.
But if you get it to work, I'd be interested in the details of what needed to be done.
