Has Anybody Managed To Get Google Universal Analytics Working Correctly In V2.2.5? Rate Topic   - - - - -

As the title says, has anybody actually managed to get this working with the transaction detail being passed through to analytics correctly?
If so, can you describe how?
I'm finding it particularly difficult!

This is for the old style analytics which is coded into cs cart. I am looking to implement the new code for 'universal analytics' which is the updated version of Google analytics.
I have got the base code put in the skins/basic/customer/index header but the ecommerce part where transaction data is passed to Google analytics needs to be called on checkout.complete and this is what I can't get to work properly.

You can create the following file:

skins\YOUR_THEME\customer\addons\google_analytics\hooks\checkout\order_confirmation.post.tpl

and put the code there

That is what I have been trying to no avail so far. It doesn't pick up the transactions as they go through.

My transactions go through, but are all lumped under "direct". Google says the Eccommerce code on the checkout page has to be updated for the Universal Analytics.

Does anybody have any info on this?

Did someone find the solution? Why all transactions are lumped under direct?

When you inserted the code, and you did what the article url says, than you need to wait at least 2 days before the analytics works.

I put my Analytics acount number in the addon field.
I have results in my Google Analytics but all transactions are under "direct" and none of the referral have.

No I thought that something wrong I must have done. Is this working fine for the rest here. Is there something else except the account number in Google analytics addon that I must do?
