I just downloaded the newest version and in Design Mode when I change the template and save it, it reverts back to the original?? Anyone know why?

I have the same problem. Anyone know why the template is not saving in design mode?

I really don't know what I am doing with csCart or php, but I had this problem with another cart, one many of us dislike. The problem turned out to be a bug, but the way to work around it until the bug was fixed was to change from html display view to source view. Not sure if this will help you or not, hope it will. And also, I just left a webhost that would not allow changes to be saved if the disk was more than 70% full. So anytime I made a change to a file or tried to upload a file it would not save. You may want to check this as well. For me it was easy to tell because I could upload a file and it would always upload the file name but zero in size.

Hello,

Please check permissions of the design directory, all its subdirectories and files. In order to have the ability to edit templates, the permissions should be writable.

All of the folders and files in them are writeable.
