is v2.23 compatible with newest update from CS Cart v4.9.1 or do I need to wait for updated version for Vivashop theme?

Dear kimkwangsuk71,

As already mentioned to you once just above on this same page, all information about VIVAshop may be found on the theme presentation page on our website HERE. As it may be seen on our site, the current VIVAshop theme version 2.23 is compatible with CS-Cart/Multi-Vendor 4.8.2.

CS-Cart 4.9.1 and Multi-Vendor 4.9.1 have just been released yesterday and we are currently in the process of updating our themes. Once the new VIVAshop theme version (compatible with the new CS-Cart/Multi-Vendor 4.9.1) is released you’ll see that on our website. As usual, we’ll also inform everybody on the forum here.

Anyway, the new theme version 2.24 (compatible with the new CS-Cart/Multi-Vendor 4.9.1) will be released very (but very) soon :)

Kind regards,

EnergoThemes

Dear all,

We’ve have received several reports regarding the CS-Cart/Multi-Vendor “Restore from repository” function, as this function is needed when updating VIVAshop to the latest version 2.24.

It seems that there is a little bug in the latest CS-Cart 4.9.1 and Multi-Vendor 4.9.1, as none on the "Restore from repository", "Download", "Rename" and "Delete" links work under the Design - Templates menu. All of these links are displayed correctly in the admin menu but none of them do anything when clicked.

We have already reported this to CS-Cart and are waiting for an answer/fix.

Meanwhile, because this is affecting our customers who need to perform the VIVAshop theme update, we have investigated the issue ourselves and, although we never modify CS-Cart core files, we developed a fix for the "Restore from repository" button, by editing a core CS-Cart file.

To implement the fix please follow these steps:

1. Open the file "js/tygh/templates.js" in the root of your CS-Cart/Multi-Vendor 4.9.1 installation on your server

2. Find the code on line 95:

$(_.doc).on('click', '.cm-te-restore', function() {

3. Replace it with:

$('.cm-te-restore').on('click', function() {

4. Save the file

5. Log into your admin interface then clear the server cache by adapting the following link: yoursite.com/youradmin.php?cc&ctpl

(NOTE: You may also need to refresh your browser, or log out of your admin interface and then log back in).

Now the "Restore from repository" function will work and you may complete the theme update.

Kind regards,

EnergoThemes

.dropdown-hybrid li.adropdown-vertical_li>a{
padding-top: 7px;
padding-bottom: 7px;
}

Many thanks! I suppose the same mutatis mutandis will work for the horizontal menu - and for your theme only.

In my custom theme, spaces between the categories in the vertical menu are enormous...

PS. I'd  gladly consider your theme - if it was not so opulent. We need something more academic. ;-)

Dear Lucien,

Thank you for your message. If you try to update your CS-Cart software to version 4.9.1 and VIVAshop to version 2.24, and have no modified CS-Cart core files, the above mentioned fix will definitely work, without any doubts. Just make sure to correctly follow the procedure described. Also, after you modify line 95, make sure to refresh your browser so the modification may be effective on your site.

It it helps, please click here to open a ticket on our support center and we’ll take care of it for you. Make sure you also provide an FTP account when you open the ticket, as we need access to the "templates.js" file.

Alternatively, please note that CS-Cart has solved this issue in the latest version 4.9.2, so if you update CS-Cart to 4.9.2 and VIVAshop to 2.25 you will not need to make any modifications to the "templates.js" file.

Kind regards,

EnergoThemes

Dear kimkwangsuk71,

All these buttons and functionalities are part of the CS-Cart core code and default CS-Cart addons. There is no setting to disable them specifically on the category page. So you can only globally disable them by adjusting the following CS-Cart settings and CS-Cart core addons from your admin interface:

To disable the "Add to cart" button, you need to navigate to the Add-ons - Manage Add-ons section then install and activate the "Catalog mode" addon.

To disable the "Add to wishlist" button, you need to navigate to the Add-ons - Manage Add-ons section and disable the "Wish list" addon.

To disable the "Add to comparison list" you need to navigate to the Settings - General section uncheck the "Allow customers to compare products" option.

Alternatively, if you only want to hide the buttons on the category page, you may add this Custom CSS rule to your store by following these steps:

1. Log into your admin interface and go to Design - Themes

2. Click the blue Theme Editor button

3. On the left hand side under CUSTOMIZE please choose the last option Custom CSS from the dropdown. Now copy/paste this code:

.vs-grid .vs-buttons,
.vs-list .vs-qty-buttons,
.ty-compact-list__controls{
 display: none;
}

4. Click the blue Save button of the Theme editor.

Note that the area allocated to display the buttons also displays the product rating so the height will remain the same after you hide the buttons. If you want to also hide the product rating, you may add the following CSS rule as described above:

.vs-grid .rating-buttons{
 display: none;
}
