The cron job has been active since my post above and no files have returned.
I think the /images/detailed/0/*.thumb.gif file came back the next day because I initially missed the /addons/affiliate/ul.php file.

As an added precaution for future. , Ive removed all the unneeded files for payment methods I dont use.
So far.. all goody.
