CSS debug mode & JavaScript debug mode not showing new version. How solve it?

Dear Salauddin,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, we decided to remove the CSS debug mode and JavaScript debug mode options starting from CS-Cart version 4.1.1. CSS are always compiled at the moment. For more information, please refer to the CS-Cart 4.1.1 Changelog on our website:

CS-Cart 4.1.1 Changelog — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation

This feature was removed starting from CS-Cart version 4.1.1 due to the specific architecture of CS-Cart 4.1.1. This feature will be improved and added to one of the future versions of CS-Cart. As regards search for CSS classes, you can inspect the page element with the Firebug tool in the Mozilla Firefox web browser (Developer tools in the Google Chrome web browser) and find the necessary class in the standalone css file. Copy the name of this CSS class and search it in the contents of the css and less files located in the design/themes/basic/css directory of your CS-Cart installation.

I am sorry for the possible inconvenience.

Feel free to ask further questions if any.

I will be glad to help.

@Vali offered a good solution to temporary disable merging of the css files. So you will be able to identify the location of the required files.

@Denis Borisov

Thanks for not asking. CSS and JS debug mode comes super handy to identify where and when CSS files are being put in the design and if there is a way to block them. We get a list of CSS files included in CSS file instead.

JS one was added. Can you please re-add this back? CSS blocks the path to render, not JS so CSS is extremely critical.
