I have run the cscart demo and love it but I am then out of my depth

Unfortunatly your stuck in a Paradox.

Considering CS-Cart does not come equipped with a user manual it’s necessary to search the forums for the said informations.

Understandably you may not want to hand over more cash for development however it’s becoming an increasing trait of the forums’s userbase to look for developers. If you need that extra handhold then paying can sometimes leave more hair on your chest, otherwise the forum hold a wealth of informations.

Hi Mark

CS-Cart comes equipped with everything you will ever need to run a web site out of the box, no need for a designer first off; CS has four very professional template designs to start you off.

CS-Cart is fairly easy to install, if you have any experience with Cpanel etc, plus as Jesse has mentioned there is a wealth of information on this forum to help you along.

You will not come across a better cart than this Period.

I wouldn’t worry too much about installing CS-Cart. All you really need is to create a database, and set a few file permissions. The installation script will tell you what to do along the way. I do CS-Cart installations for my hosting customers on the cheap, and I’m going to include a 1 year membership in the CSCModClub with the purchase of a hosting plan and CS-Cart purchase [COLOR=Gray]<

CS-Cart is fairly easy to install especially if you have experience using FTP applications and know how to set up MySQL databases through your hosting cpanel.

You will also have to consider other things when running an ecommerce site such as merchant accounts, SSL, and analytic software but much of this can be learned as you go (assuming you’re willing to put in the time required to properly research).

… sometimes you just have to go for it!

Ive installed a few carts without any problems.

I do my own hosting and as mentioned earlier it is easy to set up databases etc with Cpanel.

If you want UK webspace and help with setup drop me a line.
