500 Internal Server Error When Clearing Cache Rate Topic   - - - - -

This started happening lately with a 4.0.3 store.

Whenever I clear cache using the admin feature or ?cc&ctpl, I get the error below after a few minutes. I tried checking my system resources but don't see anything that was going beyond limit during the process. Any idea?

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

Ask your hosting provider to increase timeout settings or delete the var/cache directory manually.
