Category Images On Homepage

Hi, all I hope someone can help point me in the right direction here…



I am just creating a website for my wife and she has asked me to place category images onto the homepage, This I have done but the images are quite small and don't look right, is there a way that these can be made bigger, (can someone please point me in the right direction to locate the file to enable me to change this)



also whilst I'm at it… is there a way to make the images look nicer? I mean like to be able to feature them in a box with a border around with the category name within the bottom of the box?



I hope this makes sense.

Yes, those images are larger, how did you do that?

Admin area go Settings >> Thumbnails
