To be honest with you, it doesn't work very well and lacks a lot of features. I would wait until they upgrade the addon and fix bugs before buying it. It's still a beta product as far as I'm concerned.
That is a bit strange. Actually it was released and already in production stage. Can you point to the bugs you are talking about? Also please let me know the features that are not included in ebay add-on?

As salvag says though it does have issues. Options don't work properly and you can't export a product more than once so changes have to be made at both ends.
Some bugs that were reported in the Beta test stage seem to be just ignored in the rush to release the product.

About to update to 4.x and am interested in the eBay addon. I really do not want to drop $125 on something without actually seeing how it works. Are there any video's out there showing it in action?
parodius420,
There is no video tutorial at the moment. But you can find a detailed tutorial in KB: http://kb.cs-cart.co...synchronization
You are free to testdrive the add-on using personal demo: https://www.cs-cart....sonal-demo.html

I have posted the issues many times
1. Every time I publish to ebay, I get many errors. I reported this in help desk but was just told to "check my logs"
2. Variant images aren't uploaded to ebay
3. You cannot export an item more than once. This is a huge flaw
4. There is no easy way to customize the appearance of ebay listings in bulk. You have to do it product by product.
5. There seems to be no option to customize the length of the auction? It always defaults to 7 days
I realize that the addon is no longer in official beta, but it still feels like it should be.

On this ebay function I will admit, a video would be nice to see the functionality but hearing from more of what the actual users have to say is so much better. I for one would love to hear from more who are using this ebay function. Even with the bugs are you able to list and sell items?
Quite honestly, this sounds like another item that was moved out of the "beta" arena too early. Well, for that matter, before they tried to tackle this ebay add-on they really should have gotten the bugs worked out a little more for version 4.

Fixed. To apply the fix download the latest version and replace your files.1. Every time I publish to ebay, I get many errors. I reported this in help desk but was just told to "check my logs"
Not a bug actually, but the feature required for those who use options. Will be added next week.2. Variant images aren't uploaded to ebay
Is this the same problem as 1)?3. You cannot export an item more than once. This is a huge flaw
Anyway we are going to improve export process so you can easily stop/relist items from CS-Cart backend.
What are the appearance options do you mean. There are separate properties description and name for ebay listing, but these fields are more like an extra feature. So there is no plan to add the to bulk edit.4. There is no easy way to customize the appearance of ebay listings in bulk. You have to do it product by product.
Yes there is always 7 days. We will add this feature next week.5. There seems to be no option to customize the length of the auction? It always defaults to 7 days
Thank you for your great feedback. I will let you know in this thread when the version with these fixes will be released.
The more people use this add-on the more features we can add.

I have a nice graphical template that I use for all my listings, but currently I have to copy and paste it into each seperate item that I want to export.
Atleast add the "ebay description" field to the bulk editor.

It's really great to see you are fixing these issues!Yes there is always 7 days. We will add this feature next week.
Thank you for your great feedback. I will let you know in this thread when the version with these fixes will be released.
The more people use this add-on the more features we can add.
It is also good to hear you are willing to add features. My fear would be your comment that...
The more people use this add-on the more features we can add.
How long will this last? While in the base features of CS-Cart you do add and change features likewise you have become somewhat frequent at telling us that "something works as designed" and that we can pay to have something added on a custom basis.
I tried to set up an account on the demo link you shared but it still requires us to set up a developers account. We do not have one right now. Didn't really want to set one up until we saw the functionality of this and if you are going to truly continue the development or it.
One of the things I could not see in the demo is if there is a specific place to put the "ebay title" field for each product so you can put what you want your ebay title to say when the item is posted. Items you list on ebay tend to have way different titles than what you have on your site. Primarily because ebay only searches the title and our website searches the title and description.
