How can I make the Homepage's background different then others?

First, sorry for my bad english.



It's my idea,

In the Layouts setting, there are some different locations.

If I want to set the homepage whole background black, and other pages is white,

in the file /design/themes/my_theme/templates/index.tpl



first, I want to get to know the location's name is the “Homepage”?(or define by location_id?)

if YES, then add a class=“black” to

if NO, the



Can someone give me a help?

after days work, I find out a simple script:









if I want to define 2 or more HTML pages to black, (ex. “Homepage” and “404” )

how can I write it?
