Hello,

We are happy to introduce another minor release of our CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor software—CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.0.3.

It is a maintenance release, mainly containing improvements and fixes, but there are also some nice new features:
  • Category images are back
  • The Euro and British pound are now supported by the Amazon Checkout payment method
  • New product block filling added—On sale (all products with active discounts)
  • New storefront theme preset—Reddish
See the full list of changes in the changelog.

Learn more about the new release in our blog.

You are very welcome to share your thoughts about CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.0.3.

Thanks!

Konstantin Molchanov,
CS-Cart Architect Team

Great news! I think I'll finally be taking the steps to upgrade from 2.2.5 to 4.0.3. Can I ask - is the new Reddish Theme responsive?

Congratulations on all the hard work.

Trying a store import from 3.0.6 Ultimate to 4.0.3, it's completely stalled out... been sitting for hours! :(

:grin: Great news! Thanks CSCart team.
I have recently used store import from 3.06 to 4.0.2 and I am in process of cleaning up & designing, etc.
My question is... should I wait to upgrade to 4.0.3 until I have actualized v4.0.2?
If I upgrade now (before actualized), will this screw up all the work I just put into it?

I'd recommend you upgrade to 4.0.3 after all the changes are applied to v4.0.2 so there won't be a need to actualize data in v4.0.3. It is not recommended to make store improt in v4.0.2, than upgrade to v4.0.3 and than make an actualization.

Or the best solution is to install v4.0.3 and make a clear store import - that's the safest way.

Hi

Installed in Development folder last night, went like clock work 1st time.

Only outstanding question is about the folders, their names are missing the first letter, is this correct?

ie Products = roducts

The Reddish is a preset. You can find more about presets and themes here: http://blog.cs-cart....ts-and-layouts/

It will take 1-2 weeks to have the files shown under your admin upgrade center.

Dear DRodrigues,

Thanks for the quick response.I have seen a post suggesting this...

Need to remove all the // in front of everything except the following. Then the import will only bring across the following.. What I had to do..

//'new_orders',
//'order_data',
//'order_details',
//'order_docs',
//'order_transactions',
//'orders',
//'user_data',
//'user_profiles',
//'user_session_products',
//'users',

This will bring across only users and orders.. You can select exactly what you want to be imported.

When I actualize should I follow this so that I dont overwrite my changes?
Thanks again.

My answer was regarding the upgrade to v4.0.3.
If you are talking about actualization itself than yes this can help you to avoid overwriting the uncommented tables. More info on this can be found in http://kb.cs-cart.co...th-store-import see the "Excluding data from the Actualization process" section.
