Stripe Payment Addon for CS-Cart 4.X Rate Topic   - - - - -

Posted 03 October 2013 - 02:54 PM #1

Good Morning,

I hope you will all excuse my lack of responsiveness to questions in the forums as of late.

I am pleased to announce that my team and I are updating the Stripe Payment Addon to support CS-Cart version 4.X and should have it available within 2 weeks.

I'm also pleased to announce that in my absence that Stripe has continued to work behind the scenes and has expanded their platform to support the United Kingdom and Ireland in addition to the Canada and the United States.

Please stay tuned for more information.

The addon is now available for CS-Cart Version 4.X and there is a backwards compatible version for CS-Cart Version 2.2.X.

Please select the correct version before checking out.

Is it Twigmo compliant for both CS-Cart 3 and 4 or just 4?

Stripe now has 2-day settlement and bank transfers.

We're excited to let you know that we've sped up how quickly you'll receive your money with Stripe.
It used to be the case that there was a seven day delay between when you charged a customer and when funds arrived in your bank account. We've reduced that delay so that any future payments you receive will be transferred to you in two days rather than seven days.
If you'd like to be switched back to your original seven day transfer cycle for any reason, please let us know! We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about this change.
Yours,
The Stripe team

Nice. My payouts in the backend are still showing 7 days. Did you receive an email about this or something?

I got an email from Stripe themselves telling about this. Any payments already in the system when the announcement was made will stay with the 7 day settlement, but any new payments since the announcement will be on the new 2 day schedule.

If we already have this add-on for CS-Cart v3.x, is there an upgrade path to the v4, or do we just need to re-purchase for version 4?

On your website it says: Compatible with 4.0. Will it also work on 4.1.2?

And does anyone know if there are any difference with this add-on and the one from Simtech:

...exept for a better price?

It does work with 4.1.x

No idea what the differences would be... I think it's one of those cases where it either works or doesn't work, and I'm sure both work. There are no "features" as such to be compared.
